30 Horror Stories from Airbnb Hosts

While Airbnb as a whole needs to pay for its crimes against society, there are a few hosts who have already endured a significant amount of suffering. One such host was new to the platform and offered a room in his apartment as a live-in host. His guest was a woman who said she’d be in town for a Robbie Williams concert, and though they’d previously agreed on an earlier check-in time, she arrived drunk at 3 a.m. She passed out about 30 minutes after arriving, but woke up later in the night and attempted to sneak into the host’s bed, saying that she would “pay more” for additional services. He declined, and kicked her out of his room. 

Though it would seem like this is where the story would end, it goes on from there. She went back into his room 15 minutes later, and spent the next hour trying to sell him organic vitamins. The silver lining: After checking out, she gave him five stars.
