Street Signs Bringing More Confusion Than Clarity
Urban signage should be easy for people to understand, but there are many examples of signs that generate bewilderment and confusion due to strange, ambiguous, contradictory messages, or spelling mistakes, leaving pedestrians unsure of what to do when walking in public.
Some signs make us wonder what the designer was thinking, and we are astonished and surprised by the lack of preparation of whoever installed the signage in a particular location.
The images you will see below show negligence, human error, and absurdity as part of a series of decisions that no one stopped to consider, resulting in more confusion with signs that lead nowhere.
