Though many of us wish Trump cameos could be scrubbed from beloved films, Ben Stiller explained why it won’t be happening with Zoolander.
In a conversation with Radio Times, Stiller said that people often tell him to cut the cameo, but explained that despite what Trump has become, “that was a time that existed and that happened.” Instead of attempting to erase the past, Stiller argues that now is a time for comedians to be focused on the present and “speak truth to power” because of the challenges comedians currently face during Trump’s second term in America.
On Johnny Carson’s Tonight Show, however, some people weren’t allowed to speak at all. In Mark Malkoff’s Love Johnny Carson, it’s confirmed that the long-rumored ban list was real, and contained over 30 names of performers prohibited from the show, including Orson Welles.
Thankfully, no one on Twitter is shutting up, so we have plenty of hilarious tweets to read. Today’s funniest include those about a guy who is leveling up, a sloperating system and how a gleek sees the world.
