It was a good week for Kevin Smith. New Jersey’s favorite director on a budget finally wrested control of Dogma away from the monster that is Harvey Weinstein and is planning to soon make the film available to the public again through a slew of 25th anniversary celebrations. Meanwhile, Wendy’s unearthed something from 20,000 leagues under the sea — the Krabby Patty! The fast-food chain’s collab with SpongeBob SquarePants has finally come to land, but fans aren’t pleased about a certain rule that it violated.
News also broke of another Big Bang Theory spin-off, and this one is for the comic book nerds. Kevin Sussman, Lauren Lapkus and Brian Posehn have reportedly signed deals to reprise their roles from the original series for a new show on Max. This will mark the third spin-off from the original series after the recently-wrapped Young Sheldon and George and Mandy’s First Marriage, which is set to debut on CBS next week. The devil works hard, but Chuck Lorre works harder.
