15 Celebs Who Found Themselves in the Randomest Ads
Actors used to go to Japan to make ridiculous commercials, because before the internet was popular, it was really hard to discover those. They weren't proud of those commercials, so they tried to hide them as much as they could for as long as they could. Then, the Super Bowl ads started to become extremely popular, and their prejudice went away just like that. Now, it's pretty hard to watch anything without coming across an ad featuring a well-known celebrity. But the quality of these ads hasn't improved in the slightest.
So, here are some celebs who found themselves in the randomest ads, and they probably loved it.

The latest example that also makes us think, “When was the last time I watched a Billy Bob Thornton movie?”
Friends for Royal Kingdom

Celebrities making ads for mobile games maybe their kids play, but they clearly don't know the first thing about.
Paul Rudd & Seth Rogen in a Lay's Commercial

Exactly what their target audience loves.
Ozzy Osbourne in World of Warcraft

He also made a commercial for I Can't Believe It's Not Butter that's hard to forget.

Gold Bond Shaq

We'll let him off the hook on this one because it gave us so many memes.
Matt Damon for Crypto.com

An ad full of epic scenes and commentary, only to end up being just a crypto site. The phrase “Fortune Favors the Brave” became a meme for a short time.
Christopher Walken for Kia Optima

Just Christopher Walken sitting in a chair, talking. Everything the boys want.
Age of Beard

At least Shaq has fun.
Activia Ambassador

Jamie Lee Curtis became the face of Activia, but luckily for her, that's all in the past.
The Rock's Drink

This is one of the few cases where the celebrity is also the co-founder of the brand, but he still looks totally out of place.
Bob Dylan's Secret

There was a Victoria's Secret commercial where Bob Dylan would just look at a lingerie model with angel wings, and that was it. Really strange times.
The General Insurance

Shaq just can't stop himself.
