There are signs that make us wonder what the person who designed or placed them was thinking, or if they intended to attract attention, cause amazement, surprise, or play a joke.

These signs combine total carelessness with human error or absurd logic on the part of whoever initially conceived them. They are the product of a series of decisions in which no one stopped to consider whether the sign was understandable or generated more confusion than the intended message.
