26 Very Weird Things People Saw in Someone’s House
Some objects have multiple uses. For example, a toaster oven usually covers most tasks of both a toaster and an oven, and a good insulated thermos can keep its contents hot or cold. A coffin, however, is generally a single-use item designed for putting dead people in and that’s about it.
That said, one Redditor told a story about a couple selling a coffin because they couldn’t decide what to use it for. The wife wanted it to be a coffee table that also held blankets, while the husband wanted it to be a gun rack. Apparently, the couple couldn’t agree on this — and, presumably, having two coffins in the home would be overkill — so they sold it.
The Redditor was self-aware enough to know that it’s not all that common to have a coffin in one’s home, which is why they posted this story in a Reddit thread about the weirdest things found in peoples’ houses.
Just a heads up — many of these items are way weirder than coffins.
