43 of the Funniest Burns from the Week of March 17, 2025

Are you struggling to make ends meet? Are you too exhausted after your long, hard workday to prepare a home-cooked meal? Are you morbidly curious about just how far corporations will go in exploiting their cash-strapped customers?
If so, a brand-new horror of late-stage capitalism is here to “help.” On Thursday, DoorDash announced they’re partnering with fintech giant Klarna, which will allow folks to finance their orders through “pay later” and “pay in 4” options. DoorDash touts the meal-delivery payment plan as giving “customers even more convenience with flexible payments,” per a company press release, but consumers rightfully see this as yet another sign of a dying economy. Or as one Twitter user put it: “In America, you need to take out a loan to order a burrito.”
DoorDash’s dystopian business approach wasn’t the only thing getting roasted by the timeline this week, though. Other digital burn victims included the new live-action Lilo & Stitch movie, illiterate lawmakers and a trick bowtie.
