Film developers wake up every day largely unaware of what awaits them. Whether it’s before-and-after photos from a plastic surgeon or pictures of a kidnapping that resemble scenes from Saw, customers surely keep them on their toes. 

Reddit’s most traumatized developers have ducked out of the dark room to expose the wildest images they’ve seen, including pictures of a guy who had a particular fondness for his Ford Capri.

All of them were a close up of his junk, with a giant key chain (think janitors keys) tied to a rope hanging off his penis. Next came pictures of the wake at their funeral. This person was well, got sick and then died all in the span of this single roll of film. Mildly disturbing on an existential level to say the least. Back then, the developed pictures would fall from the top of the machine into a shelf below, and a motorized arm would push pictures off to the side into a neat little stack. I threw in a roll for development right before lunch. Came back, and the photo on top was some dude's dick, clear as day. It had been sitting there in plain sight for at least 45 minutes. This was back in the day when the view finder didn't fully display everything that was in the shot, so my mother took a great picture of my daughter being held up by the doctor.
