Part of the joy of watching cartoons is seeing unlikely characters defy the laws of physics in ways that seem impossible in reality. But according to these Redditors, Looney Tunes-style antics aren’t exclusive to the animated world.
One such Redditor recalled a time that he went skiing with his then-girlfriend. They were taking it slow down the bunny slope, but that didn’t prevent her from catching a little momentum and hitting a tree head-on. As if colliding face-first into a tree wasn’t funny enough, he said that both of her arms and legs went straight out on impact and she slid down the tree ever so slowly — much like our friend Wile E. Coyote after he’s been bested by the Road Runner.

Other Redditors have shared the absolutely cartoonish things they’ve witnessed in real life, like a plumber dangling through a ceiling and someone who actually fell victim to a dangerous banana peel, and it’s beautiful that our actual, non-animated surroundings can be so wacky.
