A lot of our frustration comes from the fact that people around us don't always follow the script we had in our heads. Not everybody thinks like us, so we can't predict their reactions, and Americans know that feeling too well. You might think you're the perfect citizen, but then you go to Walmart once, and you realize there are a lot of other kinds of people out there. And then you go to Walmart a couple of more times, and you realize that they are the true face of the country.
Outfits that should never leave the house, hairstyles that need to be banned from public life, and attitudes that should've been corrected a long time ago are part of our everyday lives in the US, whether you're shopping, waiting in line for your fast food, or simply minding your own business on the street.
