Photos of When People Forget to Read the Instructions
Life doesn't come with instructions, so we're constantly falling and picking ourselves up again. We thought our parents had all the answers, but growing up, we realized no one does and probably never will. All we can do is our best, even when our best isn't enough. But when instructions are very clear, that's a whole different story.
Almost everything you buy today has a manual or a tiny piece of paper with some precautions and instructions for use. This can help you avoid common mistakes or completely destroy your newest and very expensive purchase. But reading is overrated in 2025, so those manuals go straight to the trash even faster than the box.
The same happens with instructions for a recurrent task you do every day. After you've done it so many times, you don't need to check that all the time. Or that's what all these people like to think.

No need for instructions, got it after a couple of tries.

For all of those still in the closet.
Apple Fence

Great idea for an art piece, not so much for a fence.

Ah, yes, the universal colors to identify the hot and cold water.
Fire Hose Adapter

It's not like it's important or used only in certain emergencies.
Fence Paint

Might as well paint the whole forest black.
Mashed Cupcakes

To be fair, there was no label saying “This Way Up” or “Don't Shake the Cupcakes," so they couldn't know.
Upside down Sign

It could be a new marketing technique.
Beijing's Subway

The arrows are pretty clear.

Maybe they were trying something different?
Stuck

Just keep the car on the pavement and you should be fine.
