Casa Bonita is in hot water — again.

The novelty eatery owned by Trey Parker and Matt Stone is in the middle of yet another labor dispute. This time, a performer alleges Casa Bonita management eliminated key roles from the restaurant amid performers’ attempts to unionize. 

Last month, Stone said the characters, which included Black Bart, Captain Isabella, Amazon Ani and the Sheriff, were only temporarily sidelined to make room for a Halloween-themed “Casa BOO-nita” showcase. But a new article from one of the entertainers, Joshua Emerson, claims this is yet another instance of mistreatment.

“They broke the law when they did it,” Emerson argued. “The Casa Bonita Entertainment cast voted to have Actors’ Equity represent us as our union twice, both times unanimously. Management is required by federal law to bargain with Equity over making changes to working conditions during ongoing contract negotiations.”

Yikes!
