Back when Bill Clinton was the Governor of Arkansas, he allegedly had his eye on Charlie Sheen’s girlfriend.
The Two and a Half Men alum told the story of an ill-fated press trip to the Southern lawmaker’s mansion in 1987, while filming Three for the Road, revealing that his co-star, Alan Ruck, heard Clinton trying to make a move on Sheen’s date. “I was answering a reporter’s question when Ruck overheard Clinton whisper to one of his aides, ‘Find out what you can about the brunette,’” Sheen wrote in his memoir.
In other rumors, I Dream of Jeannie’s Barbara Eden is debunking long-running claims that she had a rivalry with Bewitched star Elizabeth Montgomery. “I enjoyed being with her,” Eden remembered, adding that while the pair “did not have a lot of time to talk or be girlfriends,” Montgomery was “always pleasant” to be around on the Columbia Pictures lot.
