Trudy in Avatar goes down fighting for the Na'vi, against her people. ... who all fire on her because she went and painted her plane with Na'vi stripes. Had she not, she would have lasted longer in the fight and may even have survived. Or, with full access to the base, she could have sabotaged all the planes or killed everyone before the battle even started. CRACKED.COM

The Amazing Spider-Man

The Amazing Spider-Man's Uncle Ben dies confronting a thief. This isn't heroic. Не saves no one. No one was in any danger until Ben grabbed at the guy. All Ben does is turn a pretty cool guy into a murderer. Yeah, a cool guy, as thieves go. The thief threatened no one during the robbery, never pulling out the gun he had on him. Не even took the time to toss Peter the milk the kid couldn't afford. CRACKED.COM

Casino Royale

Later Bond movies say Vesper died in Casino Royale to protect James. How? Why? No explanation. She chooses death just because she knows the movie's ending. If Quantum's still after James, staying alive and giving him info would be the best way to protect him. Or if they're inescapable, she may as well bang the guy for however much time they both have left. CRACKED.COM

Glass

Bruce Willis in Glass goes after the villains, though they know his weakness. For him, it's a suicide mission. So, why doesn't he just... call the cops and send them instead? Most heroes don't because they're written to be more skilled than cops. But Bruce isn't. He's unbreakable (usually) but isn't stronger than a whole squad. And neither are the villains. Police captured them easily earlier in this very film. CRACKED.COM

Thor: Ragnarok

Skurge in Thor: Ragnarok leaps off the ship to die fighting the zombie army. But he just needs to kill the ones entering the ship, and he can do that fine while staying aboard. Staying alive also means he can help the Asgardians again later. We see the Children of Thanos turn out to be very killable. Wonder how they'd hold up against a stream of Texas 5.56 mm bullets... CRACKED.COM

X-Men

The X-Men remember Havok's Apocalypse death as a heroic sacrifice. But what was he trying to accomplish, shooting out that laser? Не blows up the mansion instead of the baddies because they teleport away. But if they didn't, and his laser blasted them, he would have killed Xavier too ... and may have blown up the mansion too anyway. CRACKED.COM

Aquaman

In Aquaman, the Queen says the Atlanteans will never stop hunting her. So she gives up her life on land and goes back to Atlantis, to her presumed death. Or, she could just move her family to anyplace other than a lighthouse directly overlooking Atlantis. It took the hunters years to find her even when she was so close, and non-royal Atlanteans can't travel much inland. GRACKED.COM

Kingsman

In Kingsman, Merlin runs out of his freeze spray that disables land mines. Unable to step off safely, he lures in some baddies with song, then blows them up with him. Не could have just chilled on the mine till the mission ended and backup arrived with more spray. Не was perfectly camouflaged. And killing the baddies did nothing-Eggsy faced scores more after this and beat them all easily. CRACKED.COM

Spider-Man 3

In Spider-Man 3, Harry uses his own body to shield Peter from his glider. Weird that this works. That glider smashes through brick walls. Flesh shouldn't even slow it down. Harry should have used his superhuman reflexes to throw something at it (like he did 30 seconds earlier) or slam it out of the way. Not only would he avoid dying-this would be a lot easier than running to the exact right spot. CRACKED.COM

Suicide Squad

A SEAL in Suicide Squad dies setting off a bomb to kill the villain Incubus. Then Diablo sacrifices himself, holding Incubus on the other side of the wall from the bomb. They could have just thrown the bomb right at Incubus and set it off by shooting it. We know they could because that's exactly what they do three minutes later, the next time they have to blow something up. CRACKED.COM

A Quiet Place

In A Quiet Place, John Krasinski yells to attract monsters from his kid. Doesn't he carry anything he can noisily throw instead? Like a rock? Or a jar? A toy with sound effects? A phone or alarm clock (they have an iPod and keep it charged)? The whole movie is about their detailed prep for dealing with the monsters, but he has nothing prepped for when he meets one? CRACKED.COM

Fargo

In the movie Fargo, the chief of police Marge Gunderson follows the trail of destruction left by two out-of-town criminals who were hired to kidnap a guy's wife for ransom. Much of the investigation takes place while the crimes are still being committed, which leads to a great deal of tension and suspense as she catches up with the bad guys. Midway through this chase, the pregnant and married Marge spends an evening with an old classmate who comes on to her. The four-minute scene does not advance the plot at all, introduces no new information, and is painfully awkward

Spider-Man 2

CRACKED.COM Ursula, the daughter of Peter Parker's landlord in Spider-Man 2 is a very vague possible love interest of Peter. This isn't advanced at all in the movie. She doesn't help him defeat Dr. Octopus, nor is she attacked by him. She doesn't interact with any other characters either. Why is she in the movie? (She does bring him a cookie, which is - nice.)

The Dark Knight

CRACKED.COM In The Dark Knight, Lau escapes to Hong Kong and Batman travels there, kidnaps him, and drops him off on Jim Gordon's doorstep.
