35 Strangers That People Will Never Forget

Strangers don’t need much time to leave an impression. A few seconds of a frightening or ridiculous encounter will stick with you forever — even if you never see the person again.

For one Redditor, that memorable encounter happened on a trip to Italy. He was touring Saint Peter’s Basilica and kept crossing paths with a Danish man. When they reached the top of the dome, the Danish man broke the ice and said, “I’m not gay, but I would be for you.” Heterosexuality notwithstanding, they took pictures together, and the Redditor admitted that he revisits that interaction with the handsome Dane whenever he’s feeling down about himself.

Other Redditors have shared the unforgettable strangers that live on in their minds, including a wholesome riddler, a handsy pickpocketer and someone who might have actually been a ghost.

Called me a nice person and told me not to let The Man get me down. The next year he ran for Mayor and got over 800 votes,
-dula-peep- 4y ago Was on a solo trip to Amsterdam last year, partying it up as one does. Was at a bar having a few drinks, and a gorgeous British woman a seat or two over from me (mid-20s) grabs my arm (I'm a very gay looking man by the way) and starts going on about how good it is to see me. I got the hint and noticed an older guy bothering her and her friend, played along with them as their long lost BFF until he left. We ended up spending the rest of the night bar crawling
