60 of the Funniest Tweets from the Month of January 2025

The new year started and almost immediately one of America’s longest-standing traditions was redrawn: FOX’s Animation Domination. While the network will still air a quartet of animated shows during the famous programming block, it won’t include The Simpsons for the first time in three decades. Instead, it will move Family Guy from Wednesday to the time slot previously held by Springfield’s finest until the series returns in the spring.
In other contentious news, Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively continued their legal war with more screenshots and video clips accusing each other of being the worst person in the world. But the bad blood between the It Ends With Us stars may have been going on for even longer than the endless pages of case files suggest. Many people, including Baldoni’s attorney, claim that Ryan Reynolds based the toxically positive Nicepool on Baldoni as a sneaky way to mock him in Deadpool & Wolverine. Who knew Reynolds could be likable?
And two pieces of Joan Rivers history were saved during this month’s L.A. fires. Including the things you’re supposed to have prepared in the event of an emergency, like medications and birth certificates, Melissa Rivers was also able to escape with her late mother’s sole Emmy and the prolific personal joke file she left behind. Thankfully, the “meticulously organized collection of 65,000 typewritten jokes” will make its way to the National Comedy Center where it will now live forever.
2025 also started off with some seriously funny tweets. The funniest include those about a bomb club, an aggressive meat shop and how it feels to push someone else’s buttons.
