Whitney Cummings created 2 Broke Girls, and she’s recently decided to act like one by spreading bizarre conspiracy theories on social media.
“I think they caught the guy recently in Woodland Hills trying to put gasoline in sewers. It’s happening all over,” Cummings said in a now-viral video accusing arsonists of exacerbating the ongoing fires in Los Angeles.
She didn’t stop there either, going on to allege that queer women in the Los Angeles Fire Department are “recruiting more lesbians” to fight the flames. “All of the people in charge of L.A.’s fire response are lesbians named Kristin,” she joked in her controversial video. “I don’t recall voting on a prop that said we could recruit our fire team off Grindr.”
In happier news, after five days, several Reddit threads and a few expletive-filled tweets, we finally have an answer as to why self-anointed “Golden God” Dennis Reynolds was conspicuously absent from Abbott Elementary’s crossover with It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Glenn Howerton was just too busy.
“Glenn had a show that he is a series regular on called Sirens. It’s the Netflix show, and it was shooting in New York,” Abbott Elementary producer Patrick Schumacker explained, adding that Dennis plays a “very heavy” role in the second installment of the shows’ crossover. “He flew in specifically to work on this and had to fly back. We had him for half a day, so we had to build that in. That was one of those ones where we didn’t know if we had him, and so, we had to stay a little bit nimble as far as breaking the story.”
Thankfully, the stars of Twitter are never too busy to log on. Today’s funniest tweets include those about how to rewrite history, a possible trifecta for Jeremy Allen White and Nosferatu’s influence.
