Scary Movie 6 might be a proper reunion after all. Recent news about the Wayans Brothers working together on the new film reminded us that over the summer, Anna Faris told People that she’d return to the comedy franchise on two conditions: 1) enough money; and 2) being able to work with Regina Hall again. Well, at least one of those things seems about to happen, as Hall told TV Insider that she’s “thrilled at the possibility that the band could get back together again” and would love to “see if Brenda is in this new world.”
Meanwhile, some funny people are cozying up to the Boss. Marc Maron, Gaby Hoffmann and David Krumholtz have all joined Jeremy Allen White’s Bruce Springsteen biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere. The film, which follows the creative evolution of Springsteen’s 1982 album “Nebraska,” will see the trio of actors playing a music producer, Springsteen’s mother and a record label executive respectively. The Springsteen-approved movie is slated to hit theaters next year.
In the wake of election night, the timeline is working fast and furious to bring some much-needed humor back to our screens. Today’s funniest tweets include those about a window for a villain, a controversial cat and a good movie to wind down to.
