Seth Meyers is a dad man walking. The late-night host is bringing his first stand-up special to Max, and his first overall since 2019’s Lobby Baby, with Seth Meyers: Dad Man Walking. Like his debut special, the SNL alum’s special will shift from current events to his personal life — “from the chaos of raising three young kids, to navigating different communication styles in marriage, to the proper way to cross the street in New York City.” The special was taped in front of a live studio audience back in June at Chicago’s Vic Theatre. When first announced, Meyers joked that “it’s the special my kids will be talking about in therapy 20 years from now!”
HBO is also headed to Florida… man. The network is bringing the mythical Florida man and the ripped-from-the-headline tales of the Sunshine State to the small screen with its latest comedy series It’s Florida, Man. It comes from the creative minds behind Eastbound and Down and features a range of guest stars, including Anna Faris, Jake Johnson and Sam Richardson across its six-episode debut season. It’s Florida, Man joins a growing list of irreverent, low-cost Friday night series like A Black Lady Sketch Show and Los Espookys.
