Summer has officially come to an end, and the smell of pumpkin spice has begun to waft through the air, giving us time to pause and reflect on the flurry of news we gawked at last month.
Of course, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice finally made its way to the big screen, almost exactly 35 years after the Beetlejuice cartoon debuted on the small screen. Ted Danson went on Smartless and admitted that it was sometimes difficult to be in the same room as Shelley Long, while Trey Parker and Matt Stone had some admissions of their own — namely, that they’ve run out of ways to make fun of Donald Trump. In the spirit of dishonesty, Ellen DeGeneres’ new Netflix special omitted the real reason she’s allegedly retiring. Don’t worry, she got roasted for it.
