Ayo Edebiri wants you to know that Julia Roberts and Andrew Garfield are “really, really toxic.” While promoting her new film Omni Loop, Edebiri spoke with Film Updates about what’s next for her, which includes a role in the Roberts-Garfield-led thriller After the Hunt. When asked how it was working with the prolific actors, she responded that they were “nasty people” who “never know their lines.” She was obviously joking and later clarified that they are “two of the greatest people” she’s ever worked with and that she couldn’t believe that she was getting the opportunity to do so. 

Meanwhile, James Cameron finds one of his many masterpieces a little tough to look at. The iconic director told Empire that after 40 years, he’s ready to admit that there are parts of The Terminator that are “pretty cringeworthy.” Cameron doesn’t think the film’s ‘80s production value aged well, but is quick to fire back at critics who disparage the dialogue. The three-time Oscar-winning director told naysayers to pull up their “three-out-of-the-four-highest-grossing films” and then they can “talk about dialogue effectiveness.”
