Snack collabs are out-of-control these days. Lady Gaga once had her own fluorescent pink and bright green Oreos, while Marshmello teamed up with Coca-Cola for a strawberry-and-watermelon flavored soda. With Oreo and Coke being among the biggest unholy brand-partnership offenders, it was only a matter of time before they put their galaxy brains together. And so, you can now find Oreo-flavored Coke and Coke-flavored Oreos at your local supermarket. One Twitter user found herself with both Frankensteined offerings in her cart and joked that the purchase came with a coupon for mental-health counseling.
This godforsaken soda-cookie mash-up was far from the only thing getting roasted by the timeline this week, though. Other digital burn victims included the tabloid getting a taste of its own medicine, a PB&J eater who belongs behind bars and so-called “personality hires.”
