Hulu’s hit mystery-comedy Only Murders in the Building has been renewed for a fifth season just days after its Season Four premiere, making everyone wonder just how many people are going to get killed on the show. Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez are all slated to return for a new batch of 10 episodes that will likely increase not only the series’ body count, but its Emmy count, too. The most recent season earned a whopping 21 nominations, including those for Best Comedy Series, Best Lead Actor (for Martin and Short), Best Lead Actress (for Gomez) and Best Supporting Actress (for Meryl Streep).
In other TV news, a TikTok thread — Tareasa “Reesa Teesa” Johnson’s epic storytime “Who TF Did I Marry?,” which details her rocky relationship with her “pathological liar” ex-husband — is being adapted for the small screen. Natasha Rothwell, who is using the 50-part story as source material for a series, will star and executive produce, with the project being set up at ABC Signature.
