With Scary Movie set to make its return, there’s been one looming question about the franchise’s reboot: Will Anna Faris and Regina Hall make an appearance? They were obviously the backbone of the first four films of the franchise, but there’s still no official word on their involvement with this resurrection of the series. Faris did, however, lay out her demands exclusively to PEOPLE, telling the magazine that it would take two things to make it happen — money and Hall. On the latter count, Faris shared that she “would love to work with Regina again,” and that the two made each other “giggle all day long.”
Over on the indie film beat, the Sundance Institute announced earlier this year that it was toying with the idea of relocation once its current contract with Park City, Utah expires. Although there’s a chance the festival — which debuted films like Clerks and Wet Hot American Summer — may stay in Park City, the short list of possible new destinations include Boulder, Louisville and Santa Fe. After site visits throughout the rest of the year, it’s expected that a final location will be announced by the first quarter of 2025 at the latest.
