Most actors will tell you that a film or TV cast often feels like a family, but for one actor, his co-stars literally are his family members. During an appearance on the Today show, Glen Powell told Hota Kotb that his parents have had cameos in all of his films since Spy Kids 3. Keeping with tradition, Cyndy and Glen Powell Sr., who Powell lovingly refers to as “nepo mommy” and “nepo daddy,” make an appearance in one of Twisters’ more thrilling sequences, adding to the family’s growing filmography.  

Speaking of family, Scarlett Johansson’s very public lawsuit with a certain family-friendly streamer made a lot of news, but she didn’t want it to go that way. In a new interview with the New York Times, Johansson revisits Disney’s decision to simultaneously release Black Widow on streaming when her contract stipulated an exclusive theatrical distribution, saying that she was “holding out hope” for chief executive Bob Chapek to make the right call before pursuing legal action. Johansson maintains that Disney’s decision was “unprofessional” and indicative of “poor judgment and poor leadership,” but says she doesn’t hold a grudge.
