You guys ready to let the dogs out? Bradley Cooper sure is. While visiting the New Yorker Radio Hour to talk all things Maestro, the actor-director deviated from the Leonard Bernstein talk to share what project he would do “in an instant.” Cooper told the podcast that his love of director Todd Phillips and co-stars Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms would easily have him back in a fourth Hangover flick for yet another night that Phil Wenneck and his Wolfpack will “never forget.” Cooper quickly quelled any speculation, though, saying that he doesn’t “think Todd is ever going to do that.” Just like the A Star Is Born director, Phillips has been consumed by his own prestige fodder as he wraps up Joker: Folie à Deux, the follow-up to his 2019 Taxi Driver cosplay.
Barbie star Margot Robbie, however, doesn’t necessarily see a sequel in her future. Robbie told the Associated Press that the movie wasn’t built “to be a trilogy or something” and added that “Greta put everything into this movie.” If that $1.4 billion global box office wasn’t enough to sway the actress, she may be singing a different tune in a few months should the movie take home a few gold men. As we enter awards season, major Oscar pundits have Robbie and co-star Ryan Gosling as shoo-ins for their respective acting categories.
In the meantime, after a long holiday weekend stuffed with turkey and discounts, the timeline is back to business as usual. Today’s funny tweets include those about a yassified Kenny McCormick, a very confident button and a meme only a grandfather could love.
