A wild thing about traveling by plane is that you are literally soaring through the sky on a piece of technology that would have sounded like witchcraft just 200 years ago. This massive metal bird has to be inspected, tested, checked, and double-checked to make sure that every bolt, wire, and widget is working perfectly before it takes off with its commercial customers. 

And yet… despite all that precision, all that innovation, all that scientific genius, you might still find yourself losing a battle to a bag of chips at 30,000 feet. Because apparently,  humanity figured out how to conquer the skies but not how to design packaging that actually opens when you want it to. It’s funny how the tiniest design flaws can feel way more inconvenient than they have any right to. What's a tiny design flaw in an everyday object that quietly annoys you every single time you use it?

My personal pet peeve is when the straw nozzle on a soap dispenser is too short, trapping an inch of product at the bottom of the bottle! Just make it longer!
