27 Strange Things Students Did During a College Lecture

College is a place of chaos. Sure, it’s a place for “getting an education,” but it’s also a place for bearing witness to unbelievable events. One Redditor, for instance, was in a college lecture when a guy came in to pitch the class on an incredibly cheap deal for a cruise. A few students paid in cash, and the guy even had a portable scanner to accommodate students who paid with a credit card. Eventually, though, the students realized the guy was a scammer, and the professor called security to come get him. 

Thankfully, all of the money was returned, and everyone learned a valuable lesson that day: Don’t trust a random guy just because he has a credit-card scanner.
