It turns out that doomscrolling social media all day might not be the best for our brains. Who would have thought? Without realizing it, we're deteriorating our brains, and now we have trouble carrying out the most basic of tasks.
Our memories are fading away to make room for funny TikToks that we will probably forget in a couple of hours, and our common sense seems to be absolutely extinct. Things we used to do with our eyes closed are now a big challenge we'd rather avoid, and asking for help would be pretty humiliating, so we never do.
There seems to be no escape from this situation, so most people are just giving up and accepting their fate. And we can't really blame them, so we might as well join them.
