Ben Stiller still hates Zoolander 2.
The actor, who previously lamented the failure of Zoolander’s sequel, cracked yet another joke at the film’s expense to a crowd of moviegoers on Saturday evening. “Thank you all for coming,” Stiller said ahead of a special screening of the original Zoolander at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. “I’d like to thank all of the people at Cinespia for having the courage to have the first-ever nine-year anniversary screening of Zoolander 2!”
Meanwhile, Bob Odenkirk opened up about how his early days writing for Saturday Night Live taught him what not to do while running Mr. Show. After noticing that pitches from young writers were regularly shot down in SNL’s writers’ room, Odenkirk said he enacted “a rule” against rejecting ideas without discussing them first. “You have to fully understand the writer’s idea before you let it go,” he recalled of Mr. Show’s pitch policy.
