Taylor Swift famously dubbed herself as “a nightmare dressed like a daydream,” but to Happy Gilmore 2 fans, the beloved singer-songwriter is something entirely different.
Amid the Adam Sandler sequel’s stacked cast of guest stars — which includes Bad Bunny and Swift’s boyfriend/Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce — fans began speculating that the “Blank Space” singer may have secured a stealth appearance in the flick, and mauled her honey-slathered beau from inside of a bear suit.
“Why do I feel like Taylor was in the bear suit!!?” one fan speculated of the arguable Midsommar follow-up.
“Dying to know — is it @taylorswift in the bear costume??” asked a second. “I hope so!”
While Swifties sleuth out whether their favorite pop girlie has entered her hungry bear era, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have been struggling to remember all the details crammed into their nearly three-decade-spanning animated series. The pair revealed that much like us, they’re often thrown by the show’s complex lore, and rely on fan forums and Wikipedia to help them keep all the characters straight.
“We can look on any kind of South Park fanbase or whatever, and find — ‘Oh yeah, we did that, that’s who that kid’s mom is,’” Parker explained to an audience of fans at San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend. “It’s like, ‘What did his mom do for a living? We’ll just go on the internet.’”
Fortunately, the internet’s brightest minds have given us more than South Park archives. They’re also responsible for penning these certifiably hilarious tweets. The funniest include those about summer travels, a feral La La Land reboot and the modern-day equivalent of Willy Wonka’s golden ticket.
