The business side of toys and games can take the magic out of it. Like, when we were little kids and we asked about how anything was made, the answer was usually elves. As we got a bit older, we were like, “Aw, there’s some really nice people out there who make these things for our enjoyment.” Then we start hearing the “making-of” stories about how two-player video games like Street Fighter were only made to get two kids’ quarters at the same time.
