Francesca Scorsese has been doing God’s work by getting her famous father in front of the camera instead of behind it. In a change of pace from his usual fare, the director known for his ruthless gangster movies and tales about deeply disturbed men has been having the time of his life creating TikTok content with his daughter. Francesca told GQ that she first approached him in 2021 to do a “stupid video” with her as it would be “a nice little break for him,” which resulted in the now-viral TikTok where Scorsese tried his best to identify feminine products. They’ve since collaborated on more TikToks like guessing slang and turning their dog into a nepo baby. Francesca told the men’s magazine that Scorsese is always down for TikToks so as long as they’re “funny and interesting.” His only stipulation? No dancing.
