Contractors Living Their Lives on the Edge

Safety measures and work danger.

It's more common than it seems for construction jobs to disregard safety regulations and for working conditions to be unsafe.

In the following images, you can see workers earning a living on the edge of a precipice, hanging from beams several meters high without adequate protection.

In other instances, you can see workers on makeshift scaffolding and people handling cables without any protection. These risks pose a danger to the workers and also to those around them.

The photos show carefree smiles and evoke in the viewer admiration, surprise, and discomfort at the lack of safety measures and the danger to which the workers are exposed.
