A big part of moving through the world means accepting that someone is going to say something weird to you, often in the form of a question you won’t want to answer. I’m not saying it’s right, but it’s an unavoidable aspect of being alive. 

One Redditor with an identical twin was asked how they know they’re not their twin, which is a catalyst for a slew of body-soul-identity examinations, and is one of the worst kinds of questions to be asked. Being quickly yoked from surface-level thinking and into the depths of existentialism feels exactly like getting hit by a car 500 times, and no one should have to endure that kind of interaction. 

But we do endure those interactions — all the time. Redditors submitted the most uncomfortable queries they’ve ever received, ranging from brain-breaking to just plain annoying, and many of these situations serve as proof that some people shouldn’t be allowed to talk to the rest of us.
