“It’s a dog-eat-dog world” is a go-to expression for many aging finance bros, but the phrase has a much darker meaning for one Redditor, and serves as a reminder of why his friend group completely fractured. “A friend’s dog ended up killing and eating another friend’s smaller dog,” they recalled of the devastating incident in which one pal’s Chow Chow broke through a fence and began attacking another friend’s Yorkie. 

“(The) Yorkie owner needed some stitches and demanded the chow owner have his dog put down,” they recalled, noting that the chow owner “refused” and moved away shortly thereafter.
