Having not seen The Office, this friend would tell people about the comparison, thinking it was a good thing. Eventually, the Redditor had to sit his friend down and play an episode or two, which obviously made his friend pretty sad to realize that being likened to Michael Scott is probably the first sign that you need to do some serious soul-searching.
