The Mandela Effect is a phenomenon so intense that it warrants its own name, even though the phrase “false memory” already exists. Regardless of what we call it, though, there’s always going to be someone online insisting that Mickey Mouse used to wear suspenders, or that Hannibal Lecter says “Hello, Clarice” in Silence of the Lambs.
Those things aren’t true, and finding that out can make us examine literally everything we thought we knew.
