57 of the Funniest Burns from the Week of December 1, 2025
Just when you thought AI couldn’t go any further — it did.
If you’re a regular ChatGPT user, you probably ask it everything. And while it’s a great tool when used well, you should double-check it.
This week, the internet exploded when users shared the AI’s answers following the release of ads on the tool. Even paid subscribers of OpenAI receive ads in their responses, and it’s getting pretty annoying.
One user asked ChatGPT, “What’s a good source of protein?” and the reply was that he should try KFC — even offering him a discount code using the promo code “OPENAI.
Quickly, everyone online started sharing their ad-responses and began calling it the “Google-ification” of AI. Some even remembered that Sam Altman, the executive director of OpenAI, once said that they “were never doing ads on ChatGPT.” Well, that didn’t age well — we guess they’re trying something new, but users are absolutely hating it.
At least now, people will have to double-check before turning in an essay or a report.
