Some of my earliest memories are from playing video games; I had a PlayStation 2, but neither my parents (too old) nor I (too young) understood that while PS1 games could run on a PS2, it was impossible to save progress. So, I'd just replay the same few levels my kindergarten self could manage to get through in a couple of hours, and never actually completed anything.
