What started as a sad state of Ross and Rachel's relationship became Ross's manic catch phrase played to increasingly roaring laughter with every new rehashing. Ross and the other Friends say the tedious and agonizing phrase over a dozen times in seven seasons, even twisting the knife one last time as one of the final lines of the entire series. Once, the show even dedicated five minutes, nearly a quarter of an episode, to a clip of him. The joke is fine... the first 300 times someone in the episode says the word pickle, but the sheer volume of times the word is used drains all the humor out of it by the end of the episode. ARReSTeD CRACKED.COM DeVeLOPMeNT Tobias' Never-Nude routine became too nonsensical with the jean shorts. - - The joke of him being a Never-Nude was enough. Topping it off with something as ludicrous as him wearing Daisy Dukes at all times was more joke than was called for. Stacking jokes on top of jokes is usually a bad idea to the point that the comedy industry has a term for it - putting a hat on a hat. Even if there's an in-universe explanation, It's still too much silly stacked on too much silly. — Source

the office Erin Hannon's ridiculous level of naivete was the last straw for The Office as a mockumentary. In the first five seasons, the show was still grounded enough that you could see the characters existing as real people, but then she showed up. Her arrival and her constant antics - throwing scissors like ninja stars, throwing away disposable cameras, and boiling Gatorade as tea - were just too much and pushed the show into a full-on farce. Cartman's racism was always too edgy for a character that the SOUTH creators knew was PARK being watched by middle school-aged children. Say whatever you want about how South Park was a show for adults, around the year 2000, every middle school in the country was filled with terrible Cartman impressions and children learning that antisemitism is an easy way to get laughs from their peers. CULTURAL LEARNINGS DE AMERICA FOR MAKE GLORIOUS NATION DE KAZAKHSTAN Borat repeatedly exposes the underlying racism and sexism in the US with hilarious aplomb, but then ruins the moment by taking a dump on it. The dinner party scene is the worst offender. Borat perplexes his Southern hosts with ridiculous banter before excusing himself to take a sh*t in a bag and handing it to the hostess. FUTURAMA Bender being a walking catchphrase factory was just stupid. In early seasons it was one thing - catchphrases pop up naturally from time to time on sitcoms. But by the end of the show, he was spouting I'm back, baby! and Neat! as often as straight lines, and it wore CRACKED.COM thin fast. — Source

BRIDES The food poisoning MAIDS scene is just plain revolting. The movie got a lot of attention for being brave enough to have five of its stars get pants-sh*ttingly ill while in public, but it feels like it was only added so it would be taken as seriously as its male-centered, gross- out counterparts. Curb Your F*cking Enthusiasm F*CK! Susie Greene makes Curb almost unbearable. At first it was funny and refreshing to see a woman as crass as Susie in a TV show, but season after season of her screaming at Larry, Jeff, and any other character caught in her orbit makes her scenes obnoxious and exhausting. Unlikable characters can certainly be hilarious, but Susie goes too far into completely repulsive. Why would any sane person ever want to be around her? CRACKED.COM — Source

The constant references to The the penis flattener Good torture device really brought down Place Season Four. The Good Place was one of the most joke-dense shows ever. The first time the flattener joke was made was great, but every time after that, it got just a little less hilarious.
