47 Details Movies and TV Shows Got Hilariously Wrong

Here's the thing about a lot of movies: They’re often just a series of set pieces, strung along by a thin story to get the characters from one point of conflict to another. And that means a lot of the little details the internet loves to point out don’t actually matter all that much. Plenty of science or historical facts are easy to throw out the window, when you're just trying to get your movie to the next exciting part to satiate all of the popcorn munchers in the audience. 

So, sorry everyone, Raiders of the Lost Ark isn’t going to make for a particularly accurate text on how archaeology works, and watching Armageddon isn’t going to look particularly impressive on a resume to NASA. But we can all dream, and nobody can take that away from us.
