Amid all the drama between Netflix, Warner Bros., and Paramount, we can now add the official Paramount Pictures Twitter account getting hacked.

In April, Nathan Fielder’s second surrealist docu-comedy, The Rehearsal, aired an episode taking aim at his former bosses at Paramount Global. The conflict dates back a decade, when Fielder was still creating Nathan For You for Comedy Central. 

Later, Paramount removed the episode of Nathan For You, claiming it was antisemitic. Fielder responded by dedicating an entire episode of The Rehearsal to portraying Paramount Pictures as the ideological equivalent of Nazi Germany.

Earlier this week, a tech-savvy user took things even further by changing Paramount’s Twitter bio to: “Proud arm of the fascist regime.” Now that Paramount Global is being reshaped into a more Trump-friendly media company, some enterprising hacktivists are following Fielder’s lead in their protests against the studio.
