Netflix Household is a nightmare

Over the weekend, the people running social media for the Trump administration retaliated against Sabrina Carpenter — but it was Saturday Night Live’s Marcello Hernández who ended up taking the brunt of the “joke”

It all started last week when the government’s team released another video featuring aggressive arrests by government agents, this time set to Carpenter’s song, “Juno.” “This video is evil and disgusting,” Carpenter complained on X.  “Do not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda.”

Over the weekend, the government clapped back once again against the pop star and shared a new video, doctoring a promotion Hernández and Carpenter recorded for her SNL hosting debut earlier this fall. In the original, Carpenter joked that she might “arrest” the comedian for being too hot. In the new version, a different word is dubbed in: “I think I might need to arrest someone for being too illegal.” Then, the video cuts to clips of ICE agents.

A small detail that didn’t go unnoticed is that Hernández, the young actor, has two immigrant parents. Maybe, not everyone should be making memes on Twitter.

But if you’re looking to laugh at some actually funny jokes, today’s funniest tweets include Cher’s new album, kids being a menace and an ad on a fridge.
