Kids are ruthless

Everyone is still talking about Rush Hour

It’s 2025, and the Rush Hour movie franchise is still up for debate. This might be because President Donald Trump has allegedly pressured Paramount to move forward with a fourth film.

But not everyone is a big fan of these films. Jackie Chan himself was one of the biggest critics. Back in 2007, he even published a blog entry trashing the then-recently released Rush Hour 3.

"When we finished filming, I felt very disappointed because it was a movie I didn't appreciate and I did not like the action scenes involved,” Chan wrote. A few years later, he continued criticizing the trilogy and said he was upset because he couldn’t make the films his own way.

The biggest issue behind his criticism is that Chan admitted he couldn’t fully understand American humor — but he accepted the roles anyway because of the huge paycheck. So we’ll have to wait and see if, by the fourth movie, he’s finally gotten used to it. And maybe — just maybe — another big paycheck will help.

To fully understand American humor, you have to take a deep dive on the Twitter timeline. Today’s funniest include cookies that look like burger patties, a nephew with zero emotional filter and raw chicken.
