Is daytime television still a thing? It seems like most people these days would rather stream whatever they want on demand than bother with weird talk shows, soap operas, or game shows on cable TV. I strongly associate this sort of programming with being sick and staying hom from school – watching The Ellen DeGeneres Show or Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? while battling fevers and eating soup with crackers.
