27 Trivia Nuggets from Pop Culture History for Friday, December 5, 2025
Back when iPod Touches first came out, there were all sorts of oddly specific and utterly useless apps. You know the ones: the digital Zippo lighters, the fake beverages you could “drink” by tilting the screen, and those soundboards with laugh tracks and other sound effects you could never whip out fast enough to actually be funny. My personal favs were the trivia apps that came loaded with thousands upon thousands of facts. I’d stay up all night reading them and then promptly delete all knowledge from my hippocampus as soon as I woke up.
That’s sort of the vibe here too: an endless cache of random knowledge! Except you will remember these pop culture facts because they’re totally awesome and have cool graphics.
