Sometimes jokes, characters and even episodes don’t age well.
On Monday’s episode of Comedy Bang! Bang!, Edgar Wright pitched a potential Scooby-Doo movie. Just a few days later, our dreams were crushed.
His idea, which would’ve been a “cancel culture-themed” Scooby-Doo movie called Scooby-Don’t, would address how dated some classical cartoons are in 2025.
However, Wright confirmed days later on a Reddit post that Scooby-Don’t was already doomed, joking that Scrappy Do “asked for too much money, and the studio balked.”
Maybe some shows are just meant to stay in the past — safely away from future cancellations.
But if you’re looking for jokes that might still get someone canceled, Twitter’s always on point. Today’s funniest include a $400 apple, Black Ops calling their players broke, and a very long grudge.
