You can't always be at your best, coming up with great ideas all the time, and being the coolest kid in the block. Sometimes, you don't want the best possible solution to your problems. You just want a solution. And in those cases, literally any solution would do.

Fixing stuff around the house you don't own, solving someone else's problems at work, or dealing with your grandma's cellphone are things you don't need to do perfectly, as long as they're done. In those cases, you might look for the fastest or easiest way to do it, instead of the boring and dense one that everyone says is best.
